Our Fresh Market on site and mobile market have been suspended due to COVID19. However, the community interest and the need of our neighbors for fresh local products continued. Locally grown organic produce boxes are available to purchase by anyone in our community regardless of income.
With careful thought to how we should proceed to meet the need of our neighbors, providing local produce while keeping them safe and continue to offer our support to our local farmers who need the helping hand & revenue during these challenging times. We changed our Fresh Market model to offer CSA shares, with focus on distributing with less personal contact to our community and neighbors. We have purchased farm shares from Peach Ridge Farms and New City Neighbors Farms both local to Grand Rapids. A list of field fresh vegetables & products are available via email every Tuesday orders are due Monday by 3pm (the following week). Fresh produce will be harvested and available on Tuesday. Coming soon! Our Fresh Market is also working to offer online classes that utilize local food sources and education on gardening, waste, and food preservation to help utilize food more efficiently and save money at the same time.
