Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering at The Green Apple Pantry is a rewarding way to give back to your community. We have a variety of volunteer positions available for individuals, groups, and corporate teams. No experience necessary — just a willingness to give.

Pantry Intake

Help register and welcome individuals & families as they arrive for food assistance. You'll be the first friendly face our neighbors see, checking them in and ensuring a smooth experience.

Personal Shoppers

Assist clients in selecting food items that meet their family's needs and dietary preferences.

Stockers

Help organize and stock pantry shelves and coolers with donated food and personal care items. Keep our pantry organized and ready to serve.

Drivers

Pick up food donations from local grocery stores, food banks, and community partners and deliver them to the pantry. Must have a valid driver's license.

Quarterly USDA Distribution

Assist with our quarterly USDA commodity distribution events for Kent County residents. Help with packing 6oo boxes, setup, distribution, and cleanup.

Committee Members

Join a committee to help with events planning, fundraising, marketing, or community outreach. Bring your professional skills to advance our mission.
